My best friend

Two Best Friends - How cute

Me and my best friend have been friends for 2 years now, but it feels like we have been friends forever. She lives just down the road and we always play together. Once when she came over for a sleepover we played games, ate lots of junk food,  stayed up late,  played with my guinea pigs, watched a movie, had a water fight, had a big huge bubbly bath. We stayed in the bath so long that when we got out we were so wrinkly, it was so funny. Then we settled down (finally) had pizzas for dinner and had hot chocolates with cake afterwards it was the best time ever!!! There was this one time where she came over and we both wanted to make milkshakes with my milkshake maker, so we made pink with a strawberry on the side of the cup and chocolate with a cube of chocolate in the bottom. We shared our milkshakes with our neighbours and some of them offered to pay us $1.00 for them, it was so fun and now I know a lot of my close neighbours.

Our cat Karma

Karma, the best cat ever - photos by me and my mum

My cat is a fun-loving happy up-beat cat and she is 12 years old. Whenever there is a bird, lizard, cane toad or any type of animal she just sits at the door and stare and then after a while she will start meowing.  If you sneak up behind her quick enough and make a quick noise she will jump and turn around, it is very funny. We call her our guard cat. She always will try and warn off other cats if they come up to our doors or do something she doesn't like. She never tries to hunt our guinea pig Coco though. Karma (my cat) loves to roll around on Master T's clothes it is so cute. She also has this weird habit of whenever there is cleaning product around, she will meow and roll around in it and mess it all up. Her favourite place to sit is on the guinea pigs cage and my parents bed. My mum and Dad both have to tuck their legs up sometimes because she sleeps stretched right out over their legs. She is a beautiful animal!

Have you got a special pet?

The Noosa nature walk

There's so much to see

This after noon we went to Noosa main beach and had a very long walk through the bushland. We saw 5 lizards including a blue tongue that my brother Mr T spotted out. At first when we were walking to the bushland we saw lots of baby scrub turkeys. It was quite windy when we got on the beach and all the wind blew the sand everywhere. Luckily I had sunglasses on, so did dad and mum but not my big brother. We took lots of photos and we got to see the sunset on the beach it was beautiful. The waves were a bit choppy though which wasn't good surfing conditions. We saw so many wonderful things there is always more to explore in Noosa. I love Noosa!

I hope you have a wonderful time reading my blog!

Surfing funshine

Me mid wave

I love surfing; when I paddle out and duck under the waves all my worries are lost in a blink of an eye and all I think when I am out here is 'I am free'. Then I wait and here it comes, the wave rushing up behind me. Paddle paddle paddle!!! then I'm on the wave on my knee and then up on my feet, swishing around with all the fish surrounding me and splash, into the water I fall. What a wonderful feeling, I Love it!!!

Welcome to Funshine Forever

Sunset at the river

Welcome to my very first post. Where I live there is nature all around and its a nice short walk to the canals. There is no other place I would rather be. Its always hot and only a close walk to all the parks, gardens and the river.

I hope you're enjoying your day, Miss R.
